PLEASE READ: Our Update Server IPs Have Changed
Vircom has changed IP ranges for one of its collocations, and the old site will be shut down on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.

We can see that some modus servers are still trying to contact the old site even though the DNS entries have been updated to point to the new IPs. To ensure that your server is fetching updates from the new site, please do the following:

1. Manually stop and restart both the moduscan and modusadm services to force a connection to the new site.
2. Check your firewall and/or proxy server to ensure that you can connect to the new IP ranges:
  • Old: 64.18.73.0 /24
  • NEW: 207.115.110.0 /24

  • Old: 64.254.235.128 /28
  • NEW: 216.46.27.192/26
