Problem:

End users may experience slow POP/IMAP connections and/or time-outs when using ModusMail with Outlook 2007 and Windows Vista.

Solution:

The auto-negotiate function of the TCP/IP stack in Windows Vista can be disabled:

• Log onto the Windows Vista workstation using the Administrator account
  • Using an account that has Administrator rights will not work
• Open a Command Prompt and type the following:

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
