Description of Problem:
Customers running ModusMail or ModusGate on Dell servers may be experiencing overall performance problems or slowdowns, such as slow response when authenticating against a database; slow mail processing; or slow network connections overall.
Known Issues with Dell's embedded Broadcom series of gigabit NIC cards:
Dell has identified problems with small data packet loss in their embedded Broadcom NIC cards that can affect the network interface and have corrected these problems with their most recent driver updates.
Resolution:
Log onto the Dell Website at support.dell.com and apply all appropriate updates to your system.
